Platform marketplaces give you speed. Enterprise workforce systems give you breadth. Neither stays in the room when things get complicated.
We give you both sides of what the market usually makes you choose between: a staffing partner that moves fast and stays accountable after the match. Because the shift being filled is not the finish line.
Most staffing companies talk about speed. Fewer talk about what happens after the shift is filled. Control is the answer to that gap — and it means something different for each side.
VHive™ is the workforce platform that powers Verenva Healthcare’s staffing support for healthcare facilities.
It gives facilities one place to manage staffing coverage, view available clinicians, and work with Verenva Healthcare’s team when gaps need to be filled.
VHive is built for facilities that need staffing support to move faster without losing real human help behind the process.
When a facility needs coverage, the team enters its staffing needs through VHive.
From there, they can view available clinicians, choose preferred staff, and see staffing activity more clearly as coverage is handled.
VHive also supports real-time staffing intelligence, PBJ reporting, clinician ratings and up-to-date labor cost visibility.
The goal is simple:
Fill shifts faster. Stay compliant. Gain full visibility.
VHive helps administrators and staffing teams make faster, better-informed coverage decisions.
It helps them see available staffing options, use clinician ratings when choosing staff, support PBJ reporting needs, and manage staffing activity with greater visibility.
Instead of relying only on scattered updates, facilities get a more organized way to manage staffing needs.
For clinicians, VHive supports a clearer connection to staffing opportunities through Verenva Healthcare.
It helps available clinicians connect with facility needs through a more organized staffing process.
VHive is more than a shift-posting tool.
It gives facilities the speed and visibility of a workforce platform while keeping Verenva Healthcare’s 24/7/365 support behind the process.
Healthcare staffing is not just about filling a slot. Facilities need real support when staffing pressure hits.
Technology gives facilities better visibility. Verenva Healthcare provides real support behind the process.
Verenva Healthcare was founded by Oliver Pahila, a licensed Professional Engineer in New York with nearly 30 years of engineering leadership experience and more than 30 U.S. patents in fire protection technology, after witnessing firsthand the staffing struggles affecting his own family of nurses.
Alongside his wife, Anna Lee Pahila—a seasoned nurse with over 30 years of clinical experience in high-acuity hospitals and long-term care facilities—they built Verenva Healthcare around one clear mission: to solve the healthcare staffing gaps that lead to burnout, instability, and operational breakdowns.
Combining engineering discipline with real-world healthcare insight, they created a staffing system focused not just on filling shifts, but on delivering reliability, accountability, and long-term support for both facilities and healthcare professionals.
A family of nurses. An engineer who mapped the breakdowns. A team that refused to accept the chaos.
Oliver Pahila, Founder and President, is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York. For nearly thirty years with The Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Company, he served as Director of Engineering for sixteen years leading teams through complex, high-stakes product and system design. He holds more than 30 U.S. patents in fire protection technology, with patents extending across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Spain, and China.
Coming from a family of nurses, Oliver had a close view of what healthcare professionals carry every day. Short-staffed floors. Last-minute scrambles that nobody upstream acknowledged. Burnout from covering gaps that should never have gotten that deep. He watched this affect his family, and heard enough from others in the field to know it was not an isolated problem. It was structural. It was consistent. And for someone who had spent decades solving systems failures, it was not something he could ignore. In September 2018, Verenva Healthcare was founded.
Verenva Healthcare was built by people who understood the problem from multiple sides. Nurses who had absorbed coverage gaps nobody filled. Operations people who had mapped the breakdowns behind the scenes. Coordinators who knew that a confirmation email was not the same thing as a covered shift. What they all shared was the same conviction: that the staffing problem was solvable, and that solving it correctly meant staying accountable long after the match was made.
Since 2018, Verenva Healthcare has filled thousands of shift hours across facilities in South and North Carolina. VHive, our operational platform, exists for one reason: to make the staffing experience more reliable for everyone it touches. Facilities get better visibility, cleaner documentation, and real-time data. Clinicians get a process that is organized, transparent, and consistent from placement to placement.

A warm body transfers the risk onto your strongest nurses. They explain the policies, catch the missed handoffs, and quietly carry the extra patient load all shift. The right match is the actual solution, and it is available faster than most facilities think.
The problem is not outside staffing. It is outside staffing with no accountability after placement. That is exactly the gap we are built to close. Not just filling the slot, but staying in the process after the match.
Waiting does not lower the cost of a staffing problem. It transfers that cost onto the people already holding the building together. The earlier you have a reliable partner in the loop, the less your core team absorbs.

A nursing career does not have to mean one employer, one schedule, and one life built around the next shift. Many CNAs, LPNs, and RNs still love patient care. What they want is more control over how work fits into
